Our custom home warranty: a written one-year walk-through
Every J Roderick Young custom home in Oregon and Washington comes with a written one-year warranty. In the company's words: “All of our homes come with a written one year warranty. After living in your home for one full year we will come back to do a walk through inspection and correct any building problems.”
How the warranty works
The warranty starts when you move in. After you've lived in the home for one full year, through every season, we come back and walk through it with you. Any building problems we find are corrected.
We recognize the importance of having a warranty program that serves the needs of the homeowner in a professional and expedient manner. The year-end walk-through is built around that: you don't have to chase anyone, because the visit is part of the promise.
Before the warranty even begins, there's a walk-through one week before completion, where we mark any imperfections you or Jeremy catch and fix them before you move in. See the process.
